Mark Ayling - Earl Stonham near Stowmarket
I'm a sculptor and artist based in Suffolk. I sculpt figurines and other items, make moulds of them, cast them in resin and paint them. Amongst the items I make are figurines of Pagan, Celtic and Norse Deities, Green Men, a popular range of Mediaeval corbel shelves, decorative plates, gargoyles and figurines based on church misericords and stone carvings. These I have sculpted and painted to look like old wood and stone and they are very convincing. I also many other diverse and interesting items. As well as this I paint and draw pictures and have produced book illustrations, Magazine illustrations and program covers and I'm at present preparing pieces for an exhibition (my first one) in November this year.
